Job Summary:
Parts driver would be responsible for loading and delivering parts to wholesale customers. Collecting of payment. Assisting dealership staff as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Loading parts van for daily deliveries.
· Delivering parts in a safe and timely manner..
· May have to collect payment of cash or check.
· Keep van clean and organized.
· Take out trash and cardboard weekly.
· Assist with warranty part organization.
· Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal or written instructions.
- Basic communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather condition
- Fast-paced dealership setting
· Frequent walking, lifting.
FLSA Status Clarification:
This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek. The employee is entitled to meal and rest breaks in accordance with applicable state and federal labor laws.
Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
